Africa and Mediterraneo is a biannual journal addressing issues relating to the culture and society of African countries and the international migrations. On Friday 9th, their latest dossier was presented in Bologna (Italy), at the premises of the cooperatives Abantu e Lai-momo.
Thanks to the contribution of experts and researchers, the dossier is devoted to the integration in the labour market of migrants and asylum seekers, an issue which has gained an increasing relevance in the European debate about migration.
The evidence highlights the necessity to plan longer-term activities, aimed at a more efficient integration in the labour market. In this sense, education and training are recognised as key aspects and integration is conceived as an investment for hosting societies themselves.
