CERC invites us to participate in the workshop organized by their annual visiting Scholars of Excellence Oliver Bakewell (University of Manchester), Nicola Piper (Queen Mary University of London) and CERC Migration Chair Anna Triandafyllidou.
This workshop aims to investigate and challenge the predominant idea of "good migration", which tends to obscure the possible alternatives to this mainstream view. Insights from Asia, Africa and Latina America will help to contest this perspective and show how consideration of other actors' needs and interests can open new possibilities in the design of migration policy frameworks.
