This is a workshop on qualitative digital research methodologies and the study of mobilities. As the digital is now intertwined with our social life, there is a need to for researchers to bear this in mind in their research. As technology is advancing fast, research needs to be kept up to date. This conference will focus on the intersection between the digital, the social world, and migration studies.

IMISCOE Spring Conference: Transforming Mobility and Immobility: Brexit and Beyond

This conference invites migration scholars to dicuss how Brexit must be understood as an event that exists in a vacuum, but that it is instead must be understood within a greater geographic and temporal reality and how it will affect the future. This conference is about developing an understanding of events in Europe and the rest of the world are transoforming our world in terms of mobility and immobility.
