University of Trento is hosting the WG2 COST Research Workshop on the topic of "Tackling the Migration and and Refugee Challenge - Exploring innovative policies and practices through the lens of social enterprises and third sector organizations" 22-23 of November. It is organised by EMPOWER-SE COST Action, EMES Network, Euricse, and the University of Trento. The workshop will focus on how local communities can tackle the challenges with migration to local societies through the creation of innovative organisations.
SIRIUS members Francesca Calo, Thomas Montgomery, and Simone Baglioni from Glasgow Caledonian University will present on the topic of "Are Refugees Welcome? The role of third sector organisations in solidarity and opposition to refugees in the UK."
