
The International Rescue Committee came out with a report in July on refugee women’s access to work, which are hindered by restrictive labour market laws, increased threat of violence, discrimination, and regulatory and administrative barriers. Refugee women’s participation in the labour market is only at 6% in some countries while employment rate in others are up to 40%.
