Reports on Migration in Europe and the OECD countries

Recently two reports have been published about migration, one from European Foundation for Democracy on migration policies and practices in Europe, and the other from the OECD about international migration.

Refugees in Europe, Review of Integration Practices & Policies, European Foundation for Democracy

'One of the greatest challenges facing twentyfirst century Europe is the mass migration and integration of refugees who cross borders in search of safer lives. This report analyses the wide-ranging issues relating to the integration of refugees in seven European countries and presents our key findings – both in terms of good practices and areas for concern – as well as recommendations for change.'

International Migration Outlook 2018, OECD

'The 2018 edition of International Migration Outlook analyses recent developments in migration movements and policies in OECD countries and some non member countries, and looks at the evolution of the labour market outcomes of immigrants in OECD countries, with a focus on the migrants’ job quality and on the sections and occupations in which they are concentrated. It includes two special chapters on the contribution of recent refugee flows to the labour force and on the illegal employment of foreign workers. It also includes country notes and a statistical annex.'
