A new working paper which maps prevailing literature concerned with 'refugee integration' has been published last week in the EUI working papers series. The paper maps the literature on refugee integration in Europe as part of the European funded GLIMER project which seeks to understand how localities are responding to the so-called 'refugee crisis'. The authors present an account of trends in the literature by focusing on some of the outcomes and conclusions of notable recent studies in an attempt to build a broad picture of recent research on refugee integration in Europe. In order to do so, they identify a selection of outputs that can be considered as some of the most salient recent approaches to studying the incorporation of refugees, particularly in a comparative perspective.
