An online conference with Palestinian writer Susan Abulhawa

Eurac Research and the EUMINT project have organised an online conference with Palestinian writer Susan Abulhawa which will take place on 17th June at 3.30pm (CET).

Human rights activist Susan Abulhawa is a writer of Palestinian origin who emigrated to the United States. She founded Playgrounds for Palestine, an association that provides children in occupied Palestine with outdoor play areas. Her latest novel „Every morning in Jenin“ relates the partly autobiographical story of families forced to leave their country following the birth of the State of Israel. The conference will provide an opportunity to discuss how the situation in the Middle East affects migration flows to Europe.
