Integration of beneficiaries of international protection in France

Integration of beneficiaries of international protection in France

Last week, the NIEM National Report 2018 "Integration of beneficiaries of international protection in France" has been published.

The research provides an overview of integration policies and practices for beneficiaries of international protection in France. It covers the various elements of the integration process: learning the French language, labour market integration, access to housing, education, social rights, health care, family reunification, social ties with the local community, etc. It illustrates also the challenges to be addressed in relation to integration of refugees in the future, as well as existing good practices developed by institutional and civil society stakeholders.

The National Integration Evaluation Mechanism (NIEM) is a six-years long transnational project  funded by EU AMIF programme and Open Society which aims to prepare key actors in the integration field in 15 EU Member States to better face the current challenges and improve the integration outcomes of beneficiaries of international protection.
