We would like to share with you this news from the CERC Institute that has opened the registration for its "Migration Research Gym". This will be an opportunity for those who work in the area of migration studies in Canada to meet, learn new methods and approaches and debate with other scholars on the various topics related to this field.
The current fall program includes the following sessions:
- Social media as data in migration research (using Netlytics), led by Priya Kumar and Stein Monteiro, senior researchers, CERC Migration. Sept. 29, 2022
- How to write an effective policy brief, led by Naomi Alboim, senior policy fellow, and Laura Matthews, communications manager, CERC Migration. Oct. 14, 2022
- The method of narrative biographic interview: Nuances of data collection and analysis, led by Irina Isaakyan, senior researcher, CERC Migration. Oct. 21, 2022
- Qualitative interviews: Design, recruitment, ethics and conducting, led by Marshia Akbar, senior researcher, CERC Migration. Oct. 28, 2022.
