This includes studies comparing, countries, groups, levels, and historical periods. It is interdisciplinary and covers research from the political science, sociology, law and economics. The journal also sponsors the best paper award of the CES Immigration Research Group and it is Open Access.

A special issue for CMS should contain a minimum of 4 and maximum of 7 articles including the editorial/introduction. The maximum word count for original articles should be 9000 words and the editorial/introduction should be no more than 3-4000 words.

The next deadline for submitting proposals is 30 September 2018. Proposals can be sent (as pdf files) to:info@comparativemigrationstudies.org
